This is the home of Joseph Holt was born in Breckenridge County in 1807. He served as Commissioner of Patents, Postmaster General and Secretary of War under President James Buchanan. He was appointed to the Office of Judge Advocate General under President Abraham Lincoln. Served as the judge in the trial of the assassins in the Lincoln murder. Not open to the public. The Joseph Holt Mansion is listed on the National Historic Register. Location: Located on KY 144 Stephensport. County: Breckinridge
